CAMentrepreneurs: Edinburgh

The Edinburgh Chapter exists to bridge the gap between Scotland and the South of England since many Scottish enterprises are looking at the USA for investment and customers, often overlooking the rich ecosystem driven by the Golden Triangle.

Edinburgh is the birthplace of CAMentrepreneurs. When Richard Lucas pitched the concept of CAMentrepreneurs to a Cambridge Society of Edinburgh meeting back in December 2016, Claudia M. Duffy and Mary Jane Brouwers (both Members of the Cambridge Society of Edinburgh Committee at the time) saw the potential of a different type of alumni network - an organisation that would attract alumni who were active in the workforce, rather than those who are retired and enjoy attending social events organised by the Society.

Our inaugural event took place in May-2017 in collaboration with Pinset Masons and we are continuing to hold events hosted by selected partners from the Scottish entrepreneurial ecosystem.
