CAMentrepreneurs: Boston
CAMentrepeneurs Boston works to promote entrepreneurship among alumni of the University of Cambridge in New England, building bridges between two of the most dynamic innovation clusters in the world.
Cambridge and Boston share a unique connection. Cambridge, Massachusetts, home to both Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was named after the University of Cambridge, becoming the first center of higher education in the thirteen colonies. Today, the many universities in the Boston area retain strong links to the University of Cambridge.
The strength of its universities makes Boston a global center for biotech entrepreneurship and the commercialization of research, a focus it shares with Cambridge, England. This is reflected in the CAMentrepreneurs Boston chapter members, many of whom are current or aspiring academic entrepreneurs.
