The Oxford team
Jon Hill
Head of Chapter
Jon is a serial entrepreneur, and currently growing a training business, STRAKT, by delivering performance "learning by doing" training to leadership teams across sectors and running improvement events. He is also starting a fund to invest in manufacturing and product based businesses to deploy STRAKT's concepts to create value.
Unai Gorostizaga
Marketing and Sponsorship
Startup advisor at Oxford Brookes University. Valued for his work in guiding startups towards product-market fit and supporting Oxfordshire’s entrepreneurial community. Through collaborations with organisations like the British Library’s BIPC Oxfordshire and The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship, he offers one-to-one support that gives emerging entrepreneurs the practical insights they need. As a natural hyperconnector, Unai is committed to helping run meetings that connect startups, fostering a space where ideas can grow and businesses can thrive. His approach, grounded in visualisation and accountability, creates a supportive culture that helps founders move from ideas to action.
Björn Schimmöller
Operations
Björn is a Process Engineer and Material Scientist by training that co-founded a biotech company. After years in corporate he got tired of being told his entrepreneurial ideas and projects do not align with corporate strategy (anymore). So, he decided to become in charge of his own strategy as CEO of iuvantium, an Oxford-based biotech in the field of immunology. He came to CAMe in search for a community of entrepreneurs whose guiding principles are passing on their wisdom on entrepreneurship and supporting each other. At CAMe Oxford, he is responsible for the behind-the-scenes operations that make our events a success.
